Welcome to La maison des îles of Roquefort-des-Corbières,
on the south-western coast of the French Mediterranean

After years of nomadic life sailing around the world aboard different boats, Marie-Noëlle Castan has come ashore, to her ancestral village. Originally an ancient farmhouse, built of local stone, the Maison des Iles has been transformed to welcome paying guests for bed and breakfast from April to October.

The house offers four double or triple rooms, decorated in all the sun-washed colors of her ports of call, with island names reminiscent of her travels :

• Gomera (Canary Islands),
• Trois-Ilets (Martinique),
• Carriacou (Grenadines),
• Chiloé (Chilean Patagonia)

… perfect for dreaming of faraway places after a leisurely walk around the village of Roquefort des Corbières, in the very south of France, 10 km from the Mediterranean (near Narbonne, Carcassonne and Perpignan).
